  • German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Short term fellowship from 1/10/2009 to 31/01/2010 to pursue a part of the research work at University of Applied Sciences, Friedrich-List-Platz 1. Dresden.
  • National Doctoral Fellowship(NDF) awarded by AICTE for pursuing research in Civil Engineering at IIT Roorkee from 01/04/2008 for three years. Under this scheme only fifty (50) Doctoral Fellowships are awarded every year to selected candidates in emerging areas / disciplines of Technical Education by AICTE.
  • Best paper award for the paper titled “Fish mortality and conservation strategies in various Indian lakes” in the Symposium on Conservation, Restoration and Management of Aquatic Ecosystems held on December 9-12, 2002 at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
