Shimane is one of the top ranked university in Japan started in 1949. The MoU was signed between Prof. Pramod P Thevannoor, Vice Chairman, SCMS Group, Cochin, India and Dr. Yasunao Hattori, President, Shimane University, Japan. Based on the discussions both Institutions have decided to collaborate on student and faculty exchange programmes and also to discuss more on collaboration in various areas of research in Engineering, Architecture and Education. The delegation from Shimane headed by the President Dr. Yasunao Hattori visited SCMS Group of Institutions on 18.12.2018. Earlier Prof. Pramod and Dr. Varun G Menon had visited Shimane University in Japan.
