The NSS Unit at SCMS has organized several programs for the betterment of society. They released a handwritten magazine by NSS Volunteers. On World Environment Day, an awareness program was conducted with the theme of connecting people to nature. An awareness class on the demerits and psychological impacts of tobacco usage was organized on World No Tobacco Day. The unit also conducted a Yoga Day program in association with Art of Living. Other initiatives include an awareness rally for organic literacy, a blood donation camp, and a cleaning program on Gandhi Jayanti.
