SCMS School of Technology and Management is one of the top 50 institutes in the country in the field of management education. As a part of the institute Corporate Social Responsibility, a National Seminar is being organized on “Assistive Technology for Specially Abled Persons” in association with Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) as part of the National Science Day.
The focal theme of the seminar is Science and Technology for the Specially Abled Persons. The seminar would focus on Quality of life of Specially Abled Persons whose life depends upon to the extent to which they are disabled and how modern technology can help them enhance their quality of life.
The main objective of the conference is to bring together Doctors, Social workers, Academicians, practitioners and members of NGOs working with Specially Abled Persons to exchange and share their experiences. This will help in suggesting ways as to how modern Technology and Science can bring disabled people to work around their challenges. Eminent scientist and doctors would speak on the focal theme.
