SSA CAMPUS

SCMS school of Architecture established in the year 2014, is located at Karukutty, approximately 40 kilometers from Cochin. Campus spread over approximately 25 acres, is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for teaching and learning as well as other activities that help on students’ professional and personal development, with a built up area of 8070 square meter.

OUR FACILITIES:

SSA Library and Reading Room

The architecture library acts as a healthy “space” where ideas can flourish, live, grow and even be protected.

SSA Library is with more than 2000 books and 25 National and 3 international Journals in an area of 201 square meter.

SSA studio / Lecture Halls

The architectural design studio is a physical environment where students are primarily taught the aspects of design education. SSA is having ten studios cum Lecture Halls with an area of 250 sq.m per studio.

SSA Computer Lab

The quality of teaching and learning of Architecture design & Drafting can be improved the use of softwares in the computer labs. SSA Computer Lab is well equipped with 40 computers with latest design software.

Workshops

SSA is with well equipped model making workshop, Carpentry, Survey and Electrical Workshops and Visual arts Studio.

Materials Museum

An excellent collection of latest building materials and construction tools is exhibited in our material museum.

Seminar Hall

A spacious and fully equipped seminar Hall accommodate 200 persons for conducting seminars, guest lectures, workshops or conferences.

Exhibition Area

SSA have more than 250 square meter area as informal exhibition space for exhibiting students works equipped with pin-up boards

Hostel

We are sharing the Boys and Girls hostel facilities with the SCMS School of Engineeringand Technology.

Conveyance

A fleet of 22 college buses is provided for students and staff to Thoppumpadi, Tripunithura, Kakkanad, Ernakulam, Kodungallur, Perumbavoor and Thrissur which covers all pick up points of the city and scheduled as per the convenience of class timings for staff and students.
