Auto Workshop

A fully equipped 5000 sq ft dedicated facility has been established for the benefit of the automobile engineering students. This workshop houses the Auto electrical & electronics workshop which deals with the various automobile electrical & electronic equipment used in today's automobiles. A full vehicle cut section of a modern automobile is also present to showcase the various new generation electrical and electronic technologies like Antilock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Diesel Control (EDC), Airbags and various other sensors and electronics. This lab is used by the 5th, 7th and 8th semester students and also for project purposes.

Auto Electrical & Electronics lab

This lab deals with the testing and servicing of various Auto Electrical and Electrical systems like starter motor, alternator etc. The students get hands on practice on how various electrical systems are connected to each other and how they function. The lab is used by the 6th semester students. The students will be exposed to the design and construction of various automotive electrical systems.

Autotronics Lab

This lab will help familiarize the students with the various sensors used in Automobiles and impart knowledge in designing electronic circuits in automotive systems. This lab is used by the 7th semester students.

Vehicle Systems Lab

This lab deals with the various sub systems of a vehicle such as the transmission system, steering system, mechanical fuel systems. The students are exposed to an automobile service environment with the practical exposure to the use of various specialized tools and equipment. The lab is used by the 4th semester students and for project purposes. This lab will orient the students to handle any maintenance issue in a vehicle and also identify the troubles of the vehicles from the symptoms shown.
