effectively supports the evolving academic and research needs of students and faculty, the institution has constituted a Library Advisory \/ Management Committee. The Committee functions as a strategic body to guide the development, modernization, and effective utilization of library resources and services.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The key responsibilities of the Committee include:<\/span><\/p><p><b>Policy Formulation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Framing and reviewing library policies, including rules and regulations, collection development, procurement procedures, and management of digital resources.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Budget Planning:<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reviewing and recommending the annual library budget, covering books, journals, databases, and other electronic resources.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Infrastructure Development:<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Suggesting measures for the improvement and modernization of both physical facilities and digital infrastructure of the Learning Resource Centre.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Quality Assurance:<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ensuring that library services and resources align with the standards and requirements of accreditation and regulatory bodies such as NAAC and NBA.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Composition of the Committee:<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Committee is chaired by the Principal. The Deputy Dean (Research) and all Heads of Departments serve as members.
