  • S4 CS3\u2014Jeswin Christie, Madhav Rajesh Shekar, and Joseph Babu\u2014won the 2nd Prize in the hackathon conducted at Sahrdaya College of Engineering on 14\/01\/2026. The team secured a cash prize of \u20b93,000, reflecting their technical expertise, creativity, and effective collaborative skills.<\/li>
  • S4 CS3\u2014Madhav Rajesh, Ibin Paul, Joseph Babu, and Jeswin Christie\u2014secured the 3rd Prize in the Hack Rush Hackathon held at MGM College of Engineering and Technology on 23\/01\/2026. The team won a cash prize of \u20b92,000, showcasing their innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>
  • On 26th January 2026, Mr. Harisankar Kaimal (S4 CS2) participated in a Model United Nations (MUN) at Government Law College, Ernakulam, and secured Fourth Prize among 44 participants, earning a cash prize of \u20b92,500, highlighting his commendable analytical and diplomatic skills.<\/li>
  • On 26th January 2026, Mr. Anwin A V (S2 CS1), Anwin Chackalacka (S2 CS1), Mr. Sreerag M (S2 CS4), and Mr. Anel Eldho (S2 CS1) secured 4th Prize at Threads\u201926, India\u2019s first Fashion-Tech Hackathon, hosted by Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kalady, showcasing innovation and teamwork.<\/li>
  • Shivaneshwaran qualified for the finals of the International Energy Festival Kerala 2026 \u2013 Project Expo after successfully clearing the South Zone regional-level prelims. The event was conducted by CET Innovation Center in association with APJAKTU NSS Energy Cell and sponsored by the Energy Management Centre, Kerala.<\/li>
  • Handball Team has secured the Second Prize in the KTU D Zone Intercollegiate Handball Tournament, which was conducted at KMEA Engineering College, Aluva. (S6 CS4 Rahan).<\/li>
  • Students actively participated in the IIST Model United Nations held at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram. Pawan Murali (S6 CS4) won High Commendation (2nd Prize) in IP Photography, while Harishankar K Kaimal (S4 CS4) received Special Mention (3rd Prize) at UNGA. Additionally, Shyam S Pillai served on the Executive Board, presiding over the Global Peace Summit committee.<\/li>
  • The students\u2014Christopher Biju Valookaran(SCS\/10245\/23), Fenin Sajan(SCS\/10449\/23), Fathima Nazrin A S(SCS\/10482\/23), Diya Ann Jacob(SCS\/10568\/23), Jefin Joseph(SCS\/10602\/23), Vaisakh K(SCS\/10830\/24), Ibin Paul Suresh(SCS\/11123\/24), and Sivnand V(SCS\/11137\/24)\u2014actively participated in the Hackathon conducted as part of LUFTETER 2026, a National Level Inter-Collegiate Fest at Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, demonstrating technical skills, innovation, and collaborative problem-solving abilities.<\/li>
  • Shivaneswaran, S6 CS, is exhibiting a project titled \u201cSolar Powered Phone Case\u201d at the Energy Project Expo as part of the International Energy Festival of Kerala (IEFK 2026). The expo is being held from 7 to 9 February 2026 at KUFOS, Kochi, highlighting innovative and sustainable energy solutions. He received a certificate with Rs. 3000\/- as cash price.<\/li>
  • Aleena has secured the 10th Rank in Sc. Computer Science under the University of Calicut, marking a remarkable academic achievement. This accomplishment reflects her dedication, consistent hard work, and strong understanding of core computing concepts. Her success stands as an inspiration to fellow students and a proud moment for the institution, highlighting her commitment to excellence and passion for learning.<\/li>
  • the winners of the KTU NSS Kalolsavam for securing First Prize in the University-Level Skit The team has been selected to represent SSET and APJAKTU at the State-Level NSS Kalolsavam, scheduled to be held from 20th to 22nd February 2026 at Thrissur.<\/li>
  • The participants include Madhav T S (S4 CS3), Midhuna Joy (S4 CS3), Prarthana Pradeep (S6 CS4), Jovin Jacob (S6 CS3), and Jeevan James (S6 CS2).<\/li>
  • Anaswara Murali (Unit No: 328) for securing Second Prize in Short Story Writing (English) at the University-Level NSS Kalolsavam.<\/li>
  • In recognition of her outstanding literary talent, she has been selected to represent SSET and APJAKTU at the State-Level NSS Kalolsavam scheduled to be held on 20th and 21st February 2026. Her achievement reflects creativity, dedication, and excellence in literary expression.<\/li><\/ul>

    2025<\/strong><\/p>

    • Three students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SSET\u2014Akash Thekekara Shaju, Anirudh Venu Kumar, and Derin Joby (S7, Batch 2021-2025)\u2014have been selected for the prestigious San’in Kerala Short-Term Internship Program. The internship will take place in the San’in Region, Japan, from February 3 to 14, 2025, offering them a valuable international learning experience.<\/li>
    • Students from S6 CS3 secured 2nd Prize in the All Kerala AI Hackathon, organized by CareerLink in association with SCMS School of Engineering & Technology.<\/li>
    • Aiswarya Shine and Ms. Athira Francis of S8 CS1 have been selected for an internship at the U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), ISRO, Bangalore.<\/li><\/ul>

      2024<\/strong><\/p>

      • Anandjith T from Semester 6 and Ms. Amrutha C from Semester 4 of B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering have been shortlisted for the 2024 Hungkuang University Summer Program after the written test and interview.<\/li>
      • Aswathy C A ,S2 MCA got Elite Sliver (Topper 1%) certification for Database Management System course in NPTEL Examination Jan-Mar 2024 (8 week course)<\/li>
      • Avantika Cinesh of S4 CSE has been selected to represent India at the World\u2019s Skating Championship in Italy.<\/li>
      • Pranav Jayan, S2 CS4 as a part of interns selection to cybersecurity domain at Kerala Police Cyberdome, a real time vulnerability should be identified. The West Bengal Police gov.in website vulnerability was identified and reported for correction to National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Centre (NCIIPC) under the Responsible Vulnerability Disclosure Program (RVDP) and they acknowledged the contribution with using Google Dorking technology used to find private credentials.<\/li>
      • The final-year student project “Autonomous Fixed-Wing Delivery (Package Dropping Drone for Medical Aid)” completed by Lakshmi H, Mariya Laveena Rose P G, Sandra Sathyan M, and Shoun Bennis under the guidance of Mrs. Neethu Krishna, was selected for financial assistance of Rs. 23,000 under the “Financial Assistance to Student Projects 2024-25” program by APJKTU.<\/li>
      • IEEE project titled “Enhancing the Midday Meal Program through Sustainable Agricultural Development in Kerala Schools” has received funding of US $7030 from the IEEE Humanitarian Technologies Board proposed by Anupriya B, Abhinav Vinodan, and Jino Johnson from the 2021-25 batch, Dept. of CSE, and the Principal Investigator, Dr. Sonal Ayyappan, HoD & Prof., Dept. of AI & DS<\/li>
      • Aswathy C A (S3 MCA – PG Student) Passed NET Exam in Subject: Computer Science & Applications with Percentile Score 98.1358323<\/li>
      • Congratulations to Akhil Davis, Ansel Sebastian ,Antony Shinson, Antony Karesdan of S3 CS1 got first prize in event conducted by IEDC, “Build for Thrissur-Productathon” as part of Dyuthi 24 at Government Engineering college, Thrissur on 17\/10\/2024<\/li>

        • Gokul Ramesh and Ms. Aiswariya Menon of S4MCA secured a top 5% ranking in the course “Introduction to IoT” by NPTEL.<\/li>
        • Shyam S. Pillai and Mr. Aswin Harikumar, first-year CSE students, secured the third prize in the Artha Fiesta All Kerala Inter Collegiate Debate Competition at St. Stephen’s College, Uzhavoor.<\/li>
        • Students from S2 CSE, Bharat Shankar, and Ms. Santeri Bhat of S6 CSE, secured the first prize in Management Mavericks at “Empresa,” an International Management Fest.<\/li>
