It is a serious problem faced by farmers in the Chittor (Palakkad) area who use groundwater for irrigation. The groundwater will provide Rs 10.8 lakhs for this experimental study.\u00a0 Mineral deposition in the irrigation pipelines is a major problem causing great loss of revenue for the farmers in this region. This project has great scope for government departments namely Groundwater, Irrigation and Agriculture. The duration of the work is one year. The National Hydrology Project ( NHP) Govt of India to the Groundwater Department funds the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-us.googleusercontent.com\/JLfCNZQ4DYNHNsKPWx-tvnRoDa_EmLrTjD0GZega-D-BUgCPz-U7cOghYk9Ib7GfhqOPNui92sD8TO63IhwgOjHx2a1EID-jNtP5qouUXuj8a09mccPE8Rgm4H8yBEZD4qs8QBLBdOBOstdRpH-GPhY\" width=\"624\" height=\"267\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Prof. Pramod P Thevanoor, Vice Chairman of SCMS Group of Educational Institutions, and Dr. Lal Thompson (Sr. Hydrogeologist, Groundwater Directorate, Thiruvananthapuram) signed the agreement of experimental study on March 1, 2023, at SCMS Corporate office.
