In a MoU signing ceremony held at Daffodil International University (DIU), Dhaka, Bangladesh , Mou was signed by Prof. Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University (DIU) and Prof. Pramod P Thevannoor, Vice Chairman, SCMS Group of Institutions.

MoU signing was followed by discussions on possible collaborative programmes between the two institutions. Short term internship opportunities at SCMS, India for students from DIU was a major topic of discussion.

SCMS Team consisting of Prof. Pramod P Thevannoor, Vice Chairman, SCMS Group and Dr. Varun G Menon , AProf. and Head , International Relations also met delegates from Japan University of Economics , Japan who were visiting Dhaka for a similar MoU. Both the teams discussed on possible collaborations in future.
