Student Showcase Award
This award offers a valuable platform for students across all levels of business education to present their research. The competition begins at the regional level, where presentations are evaluated by a panel of judges, and one student/team is selected to represent the region. Selected participants advance to the international stage, where the ACBSP Conference Planning Committee will identify the top presentation from across regions. The final selection will be featured at the ACBSP Student Showcase during the ACBSP Annual Conference 2027 in Baltimore, MD (USA), from June 24-26, 2027.
Eligibility Criteria
- Author teams must consist only of students (including research scholars).
- The lead student author must be from an ACBSP member institution.
- All team members must submit a nomination letter from their institution at the time of online registration.
Best of the Region Presentation Award
All research papers must align with the conference theme and its sub-themes. Submissions will be reviewed and presentations evaluated by a panel of judges, with the highest-scoring entry recognised as the “Best of Region” at the ACBSP Region 10 Conference in Kochi. Winning presentations will be entered into the pool of submissions for the Annual Conference’s Going Beyond Accreditation track, where they will be considered alongside other presentation proposals.
Eligibility Criteria
- At least one author must be affiliated with an ACBSP member institution.
Student Pitch Competition Award
This competition recognises innovative and impactful business ideas developed by students. At the regional level, teams will present their business pitches before a distinguished jury at the ACBSP Region 10 Conference in SCMS Kochi (December 2026) The top-performing team will be announced at the event’s conclusion. Subsequently, the Council of Regional Chairs will evaluate leading teams from all regions and shortlist finalists to represent their regions at the ACBSP Annual Conference 2027 in Baltimore, MD (USA), from June 24-26, 2027.
Eligibility Criteria
- Each team must include at least one student from an ACBSP member institution.
- Shortlisted teams must present their pitches in person at the Region 10 Conference in Kochi.
- All team members must submit a nomination letter from their institution during online registration.
Publication Opportunities
Accepted papers presented at the conference will be included in the ISBN-assigned Conference Proceedings.
Extended Abstract Submission (Academicians & Students)
- The extended abstract should not exceed 1,200 words and must clearly present the research problem, methodology, and key findings.
- Submissions must follow APA style guidelines.
- All abstracts should be submitted in PDF format.
Full Papers – Academicians
- Each submission must include an abstract of up to 300 words, along with 5–6 keywords.
- The full paper should not exceed 6,000 words, including tables, figures, images, and appendices.
- Manuscripts must adhere to APA style guidelines.
- All submissions should be in PDF format.
Full Papers – Students (Student Showcase Award Consideration)
- Each submission must include an abstract of no more than 300 words, accompanied by 5–6 keywords.
- Student Showcase papers or presentations (full papers only, no abstracts) should be between 3,000 and 4,000 words, inclusive of tables, illustrations, photographs, and appendices.
- Submissions must comply with APA Style
- All papers are to be submitted in PDF format.
Student Pitch Competition Submissions
- Teams must consist of 2–3 studentspresenting an entrepreneurial idea.
- The following documents are required:
- A 7-minute recorded videoof the pitch deck (file size not exceeding 500MB).
- An executive summary.
- A pitch deckin PDF format.
- The following documents are optional:
- A competitive analysis.
- Financial statements.
- All business pitch submissions must comply with the guidelines of the template.
