SSET has signed an MoU with Kerala State Remote Sensing & Environment Centre ( KSREC) Govt of Kerala for collaboration in education, research and consultancy areas. This will open chances for faculty and students of SSET to use the facilities of KSREC including the opportunity to use available data from their invaluable repertoire, undergo training, use labs of KSREC, collaborate in research, skill development activities, advice in academics etc.

SCMS Water Institute has already entered into collaboration with KSREC in demand-driven consultancies like the modelling of surface and groundwater for the government using MIKE Computational Lab and this MoU will be an extension to those activities.

The official signing of the MoU between KSREC & SSET was held at the seminar hall of SSET on 12th December 2022. Mr Nizammudin A, Director KSREC as well as Prof Pramod P Thevannoor, Vice Chairman SCMS have participated in the function.
