Danish Hydraulic Institute (DHI)

Mike Plus Technology, a new venture of the Danish Hydraulic Institute (DHI), an international water conservation and research centre based in Denmark has established a lab with their advanced software to do modelling studies in the water sector. This advanced lab is envisaged to be a model for Industry-Academia- Government tie-up in various water-related projects. It is for the first time in Kerala that DHI installing a full-fledged Mike computational lab on a campus.  Mike Plus software is a state-of-the-art technology that can detect disruptive components in advance. for smooth flow of water resources including rivers and lakes. Climate change, agriculture, the discovery and conservation of food resources from water, the current size of the earth’s and inland water resources, the water environment, the environmental problems and future challenges in the watershed, and the extent of the remaining drinking water on earth in the current context are the main experimental areas of this technology.
