A five-day training programme on MIKE+ software was organized by SCMS Water Institute, SSET & Danish Hydraulic Institute for the faculty of SCMS School of Engineering Technology from 4th to 8th of April, 2022. This training enhanced the urban flood and river flood modelling ability of the faculty. This helps them to participate in more projects that deal with real-world problems and also enhance their technical skills. Mr James E Samuel, the Assistant Manager and Ms Sreya M, MIKE Technical Support Engineer of DHI were the resource persons. The faculty is trained in the Urban water collection systems, Urban flood model, and MIKE hydro River model.
