The Indian Institute of Architects conducted the Young Architects’ Festival at Kozhikode on October 26, 27 and 28 2022. Eight of our students participated in the installation competition titled ‘CREA’. The brief of the competition required the installation to imbibe the essence of Kozhikode through the ages. The winning entry from the SCMS School of Architecture won their creators a cash prize of Rs. 1 Lakh. The ideation and construction of the installation were undertaken by the students itself with support from a faculty mentor.
