The Department of Architecture proudly recognizes the research contributions of our esteemed faculty members at the International Conference on Everyday Urbanism, NAGAR MANCH, Manipal, organized and held at Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, MAHE, Manipal. Ar. Deepak V guided by Dr. Ranjini Bhattacharipad T presented a research paper titled “The need to devise and implement a Decision Support System to guide urban development in harmony with wetland ecosystems at the Urban Local Body (ULB) level in Kerala,” highlighting the importance of sustainable urban planning practices that consider ecological balance. In another significant contribution, Ar. Sruthy George guided by Dr. Ranjini Bhattacharipad T presented their paper titled “Breaking Barriers: Evaluating Pedestrian Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities in Kochi,” focusing on the critical need for inclusive infrastructure and accessible urban environments.
