In celebration of World Environment Day, students of SSA organized a meaningful and impactful event that combined education, reflection, and action for the environment.
The session began with an inspiring talk by Professor Anil, a passionate advocate for environmental conservation. Addressing a packed seminar hall, he highlighted pressing ecological issues and emphasized the importance of individual and collective responsibility in safeguarding our planet. Following the session, a documentary screening of ‘Our Earth, Our Future’ offered a visual narrative of the current environmental crisis and the need for sustainable practices. The short film served as both an eye-opener and a call to action, leaving attendees with a renewed sense of purpose.
The event culminated in a collaborative sapling planting activity conducted in association with YUVA. Students and volunteers stepped outside the campus to plant saplings, symbolizing their commitment to a greener future. The initiative not only enriched the local landscape but also fostered a strong spirit of community and environmental stewardship.
