Semester 3 students, along with the faculty members Dr. Ranjini Bhattathiripad T., Ar. Anil Semester 3 students of the SCMS School of Architecture, accompanied by faculty members Dr. Ranjini Bhattathiripad T., Ar. Anil Ravindranathan, Ar. Subha V. C., and Ar. Minu Augustine, undertook a two-day documentation study at Irinjalakuda on 6th and 7th November 2025.
The study focused on exploring and recording traditional residential architecture, enabling students to understand vernacular design practices, spatial planning, construction techniques, and the cultural significance embedded within these heritage homes. This hands-on learning experience provided valuable insights into the region’s architectural legacy, strengthening students’ analytical and documentation skills.
