As part of the global celebration of World Cities Day on 31st October, SCMS School of Architecture hosted a week-long exhibition titled “NAVAMUKHA”, presented by the Semester 9 Urban Design Studio. The exhibition was inaugurated on 24th October 2025 by Principal Dr. Ranjini Bhattathiripad T at the Seminar Hall, as part of the UNAI initiative. Under the studio theme “Navamukha”, students envisioned the future
skyline of Marine Drive through conceptual frameworks such as Utopia, Biophilia, Cultural Realm, Economic Vitality, and Plurality. The models and drawings showcased diverse perspectives on how the waterfront could evolve into a vibrant and inclusive urban realm.The event also included a City Poster Design Competition, inviting students to creatively interpret the essence of cities and their dynamic identities, marking a fitting celebration of UNAI World Cities Day. The winners of the poster competition was announced on 30 October 2025
