On 17th September 2025, Semester 5 students of the Architectural Design studio participated in an informative site visit and case study as part of their curriculum co ordinate by AD Faculties. The site visit took place at Rajagiri Valley, Kakkanad, allowing students to observe context and neighbourhood of the site
Following the site visit, students conducted a detailed case study of ESS Square, Kathrikadavu, a steel-structured building currently under construction. The exercise provided valuable insights into contemporary construction techniques, structural detailing, and material usage in steel buildings. The visit and case study enabled students to connect theoretical knowledge with on-site practices, fostering a deeper understanding of architectural design and construction processes.
