Prof. Ar. Anil Ravindranathan, the esteemed Principal of our institution, holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture and Planning at Anna University. With a rich professional background spanning over 18 years, he has been a pivotal figure in the architectural realm as the Director of FSO Designs & FSO Foundations Private Ltd. His extensive experience encompasses a wide range of projects, including major residential, commercial and industrial developments across South India. Prior to his current role, he imparted his knowledge and expertise as a Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute, Chennai.
Dr.Ranjini Bhattathiripad.T has joined as the Principal of SCMS School of Architecture , effective from February 12th, 2024. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Maulana Azad College of Technology (REC Bhopal), followed by her Master’s degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture and Planning Madras, Anna University. In 2011, she was awarded PhD in Architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture Hyderabad, Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University. Dr.Ranjini has a wealth of experience in teaching, having served in various positions from Lecturer to Principal in several Government/ Private Architecture Colleges in India (Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, CET TVM, RIT Kottayam, GEC Wayand and GEC Thrissur )for 33 years. She served as the Principal of Govt.Engineering College, Thrissur and retired from Govt. service in April 2023.
Dr.Ranjini has held various responsibilities, such as Chairperson of the Board of Studies in Architecture at Calicut University, Cochin University of Science and Technology and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala, Syndicate member at CUSAT, Member of the Board of Studies in Architecture at MG University, Member of the Standing Appellate Committee (Review) meeting of AICTE, New Delhi, and Expert Committee member for finalizing building projects for the State Bank of India. She holds life membership with professional bodies like the Council of Architecture of India, the Indian Institute of Architects, the Indian Society for Technical Education, and INTACH.
