First year students were taken on a 4-day study trip to Trivandrum as part of their academic curriculum. The aim of this visit was to visit and learn from traditional architecture of Kerala and the master architect Ar. Laurie Baker. Traditional buildings visited included the Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace and Padmanabhapuram Palace. Students got the opportunity to appreciate and be inspired by the works of Ar. Laurie Baker by visiting the Laurie Baker Center and Loyola Chapel.
