As part of the Semester 3 Architectural Design Studio, a live case study on Tropical Residence was conducted on 23rd September 2025. The session took place at Arimbur, Thrissur, where students visited a completed tropical residential project designed by Ar. Manuraj C R, who was also present on-site to interact with them.The purpose of the live case study was to help students observe and understand the principles of climate-responsive architecture directly through a built example. Experiencing the project in person enabled students to analyse the spatial organization, material use, and environmental strategies employed in tropical residential design.
