As part of the Semester 7 Working Drawing Studio, students visited Kizhakkambalam on 14th October 2025 to study GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) panels and their application in construction.
The visit provided students with valuable on-site exposure to the fabrication, installation, and detailing processes involved in GFRC construction. By observing real-time practices and interacting with professionals, students gained a deeper understanding of modern façade systems and their role in achieving both aesthetic and structural efficiency in architectural design.
