S6 STUDY TOUR
The students of semester 6 had a study tour from the 5th to 15th of August, 2022, wherein the two batches of students visited various parts of Northern India. One set of students visited important locations at Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Agra and Delhi; while the second set of students visited sites at Ahmedabad, Pune and Bangalore. The main concept of this tour was to study cases of campuses designed by Master Architects, in relation to their Campus Major project. Apart from visiting campuses like CEPT university, National Institute of Design, CDSA, Suzlon One Earth, IIT Delhi, Indian Habitat Centre, TERI Institute, students took this opportunity to visit our heritage structures as well such as Pole houses, Ahmedabad; Sabarmathi Ashram, Adalaj step well, Siddi Sayed Mosque, Heritage walk at Old Ahmedabad, Aga Khan Museum, Pataleshwar Caves, Akshardham temple, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Pink Jaipur, Fatehpur Sikri Taj mahal, Agra Fort, Raj Ghat, Lotus Temple, Qutb Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, to name a few.
