SCMS and Lincoln University College, Malaysia have signed a MoU on 28/07/18 at Lincoln University College, Malaysia campus for starting collaborative programmes.
MoU was signed between Prof. Pramod P Thevannoor, Vice Chairman, SCMS and Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, Vice Chancellor, Lincoln University College. Areas of cooperation agreed in the discussion were, Opportunities for PGDM students from SCMS to obtain additional MBA degree from Lincoln University College, Joint PhD programmes, opportunities for students enrolling in Corporate PGDM programmes at SCMS to complete their final semester at Lincoln University College. Both institutions have also agreed to explore the possibilities of joint research in Bio-Fuel, Robotics and Internet of Things.

Here they have entered into MoU with two Universities. 1. SCMS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics & Finance (UEF) on 26/07/18 at UEF , Ho Chi Minh City campus for starting collaborative programmes. MoU was signed between Prof. Pramod P Thevannoor, Vice Chairman SCMS and Dr. Bruce Loc Do, Director, Institute of International Education, UEF. Four areas of cooperation discussed and agreed upon were - Student Exchange, Faculty Exchange, Short-term Cultural Exchange Trip, Accreditation support from SCMS Group. Students from SCMS PGDM course will have the opportunity to do their projects at UEF.
SCMS Group entered into agreement with FPT University , Vietnam for joint research and student exchange
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Prof. Tran Ngoc Tuan, Rector, FPT University and Prof. Pramod P. Thevannoor, Vice Chairman, SCMS Group. Both Institutions agreed to cooperate on student and faculty exchange , research collaborations and joint research publications. This will open opportunities for students from Vietnam to do their projects in SCMS campus. Major areas of Research collaborations identified are Software Engineering, Management and Information Technology. FPT University is the first university in Vietnam established by an enterprise. Currently we are training 18,000 students in different programs. FPT University was shortlisted into 17% of the best universities in Asia and was ranked as 2nd best Private University in Vietnam in January, 2017.
SCMS Group of Institutions, Cochin, India signed a MoU with Daffodil International University (DIU), Dhaka, Bangladesh on 25.7.2018.
In a MoU signing ceremony held at Daffodil International University (DIU), Dhaka, Bangladesh , Mou was signed by Prof. Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University (DIU) and Prof. Pramod P Thevannoor, Vice Chairman, SCMS Group of Institutions. MoU signing was followed by discussions on possible collaborative programmes between the two institutions. Short term internship opportunities at SCMS, India for students from DIU was a major topic of discussion. SCMS Team consisting of Prof. Pramod P Thevannoor, Vice Chairman , and Dr. Varun G Menon , AProf. and Head of International Relations, also met delegates from Japan University of Economics , Japan who were visiting Dhaka for a similar MoU. Both the delegations discussed on possible collaborations in future.

In 2022, SCMS Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Northern Kentucky University, USA, which will enable students from SCMS Cochin School of Business to enroll directly into the 2nd year of the Master of Business Administration programme at NKU’s Haile College of Business (HCB). NKU is an expanding metropolitan university known for is academic excellence and affordable education. HCB has been accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). HCB has over 2000 students. NKU is located in Highlands Heights, Kentucky, which is rated as one of the safest cities in USA. SCMS recently cemented its commitment to global academic excellence by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lincoln University College. Prof. Pramod P Thevannoor, Vice Chairman of SCMS, and Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, Vice Chancellor of Lincoln University College, were at the forefront of this collaboration.
This new alliance promises PGDM students from SCMS the opportunity to secure an additional MBA degree from Lincoln University College, and for those in the Corporate PGDM program, a chance to complete their final semester at Lincoln.Further enriching the academic landscape, the two esteemed institutions have unveiled plans for joint PhD programs.

During a recent visit to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, a delegation from SCMS led by Prof. Pramod P Thevannoor, Vice Chairman of SCMS, and Dr. Varun G Menon, Associate Professor at SSET and Head of International Relations, forged new academic alliances by entering into MoUs with two distinguished universities. One such significant collaboration was established with the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics & Finance (UEF) on 26/07/18. The agreement was signed by Prof. Pramod P Thevannoor and Dr. Bruce Loc Do, Director of the Institute of International Education at UEF.
This collaboration promises enriching experiences such as student and faculty exchanges, short-term cultural trips, and accreditation support from the SCMS Group. Moreover, it opens avenues for SCMS PGDM students to undertake their projects at UEF, blending international exposure with their academic pursuits.
