About IEDC

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre is a dynamic initiative that empowers students to ideate, innovate, and incubate their projects. Established with the vision to fuel the spirit of entrepreneurship, IEDC aims to create a conducive environment for budding entrepreneurs to thrive.

Key Objectives

Idea Incubation: IEDC provides a platform for students to incubate their innovative ideas, offering mentorship, resources, and support to transform concepts into viable projects.

Skill Development: Through workshops, seminars, and training programs, IEDC enhances the entrepreneurial skills of students, equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary for success in the competitive business landscape.

Networking Opportunities: The center facilitates networking with industry experts, successful entrepreneurs, and investors, providing students with valuable insights and connections to kickstart their ventures.

Access to Resources: IEDC ensures that students have access to state-of-the-art facilities, technology, and funding opportunities, enabling them to bring their entrepreneurial dreams to life.

Programs and Initiatives

Startup Bootcamps: Intensive programs designed to accelerate the development of startup ventures by providing hands-on guidance and mentorship from industry experts.

Innovation Challenges: Periodic innovation challenges and competitions to stimulate creativity and problem-solving skills among students.

Entrepreneurship Talks: Invigorating sessions named as “Let’s Talk” featuring successful entrepreneurs and industry leaders, providing students with real-world insights and inspiration.

Incubation Support: Dedicated support for startups through mentorship, infrastructure, and access to funding networks to ensure a strong foundation for growth.

Team

As a mechanism to ensure proper implementation and execution of IEDC activities, SCMS School of Technology and Management has a dedicated EXECOM and faculty nodal officers under the mentorship of KSUM to coordinate on thevarious IEDC programs/ initiatives.
