REPORT ON THE WEBINAR ON “ID CNN AND NLP”

A webinar on the topic “1D Convolution Neural Networks and Natural Language Processing” was organised by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, SCMS School of Engineering and Technology on 30th April 2020 from 3:00pm to 4:00 pm. The speaker was Dr. Basant Agarwal, Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering, IIIT, Kota. There were 58 participants for the webinar including students and faculty of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. In the session he detailed on the working of 1D Convolution Neural Networks, its applicability, concepts of Machine learning and Deep Learning with examples.

The session concluded with a discussion where the students got the opportunity to clear their doubts regarding the use of Convolution Neural Networks in practical applications.
