The inaugural ceremony of MIKE Computational Lab was held on 27 th June 2022 at SSET by Mr Mark Falcon Britton, Global Vice President, Danish Hydraulic Institute ,DHI. Dr Praveensal C J Principal; Prof. Pramod P Thevannoor, Vice Chairman SCMS Group; Dr Shalij P.R, Dean Research, KTU; Dr. Shyju P. Thadathil, Executive Engineer, Project Planning and Development Unit, KWA; Dr Rajan Chedambath, Director, Centre for Heritage, Environment and Development, Kochi Corporation; Dr Anitha G Pillai, Dean Academics; Ms. Nimisha K Manoj, Alumna, M.Tech Environmental Engineering, SSET and Former intern with DHI India; Dr Sunny George, Director, SCMS Water Institute; Mr Abhilash Ajaykumar, Managing Director, Danish Hydraulic Institute (India) were present for the occasion. With MIKE ECO Lab the researchers and students will have access to DHI’s water quality models and the freedom to include their own know-how or research ideas and test them against field data. The flexible nature of MIKE ECO Lab enables you to create new model concepts containing the necessary causal relations to describe the specific phenomena in question.
