Team Helios ( a group of twelve final year Mechanical Engineering students) bagged second prize at the National Solar Vehicle Challenge organized by Dynamist Motorsports at Merchant University, Mehsana, Gujarat during 20th to 23rd March 2018.

SEV (SSET’s Electric Vehicle) is basically a multidisciplinary project constituted by the faculty from various disciplines and was initiated to design and build an indigenous Electric Vehicle at SSET and to educate the students of SSET on the developed models and concepts. SEV also aims to contribute to the global EV revolution

National Solar Vehicle Challenge (NSVC) was a platform we could use to experiment our technology and innovation on a smaller scale. This year there were about 45 entries from  various states.
