The Department of Mechanical Engineering, in collaboration with the ASME SSET Chapter, conducted an insightful 3-day workshop on “Introduction to Robotics” from 30.10.2023 to 1.11.2023. Designed specifically for Mechanical Engineering students, this event aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of robotics fundamentals, programming essentials, and hands-on experience in creating working robots.
Workshop Highlights
Fundamentals of Robotics: Participants delved into the core principles of robotics, exploring the mechanics, electronics, and control systems that drive modern robotic applications.
Programming Essentials: Students were introduced to key programming concepts and languages crucial for robotics, gaining the skills necessary to bring their robotic creations to life.
Hands-On Experience: The workshop emphasized practical learning, allowing students to engage directly with robotics components and tools to build their own robots.
Resource Persons
