SCMS School of Engineering and Technology (SSET) holds valid NBA Accreditation for its core undergraduate engineering programs. This accreditation validates our Outcome-Based Education (OBE) model, ensuring our students graduate with industry-relevant skills and degrees recognized worldwide under the Washington Accord.

- Civil Engineering (CE)
- Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)

Validity
- Three departments including Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering applied for NBA in 2020 and successfully received accreditation for a period of three years. Further, based on the compliance visit, the accreditation of the programs were extended for another three academic years 2023-2024 through 2025-2026, valid up to June 30, 2026.
- The departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering were accredited in the year 2024 for 3 years (2024-2027).
In 2025, SSET received the “Minister’s Excellence Award – Excellentia 2025” from the Government of Kerala specifically for securing NBA accreditation for these five engineering programmes.
