  • Josna Philomina at, Karukutty, delivered a guest lecture on “Introduction to gem5 and Simulation Techniques” on 2 February 2026 at the VLSI Lab, Division of Electronics, School of Engineering, CUSAT, Kochi.
  • Deepa K, delivered an invited seminar on “Vedic Mathematics in the Era of Artificial Intelligence” on 3rd March 2026. Organized by the in association with the IKS Centre and IQAC, the session highlighted the relevance of Vedic mathematical techniques in modern computational mets and Artificial Intelligence, promoting the integration of traditional Indian knowledge with emerging technologies.
  • Manish T I and, has been appointed by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University as the Chairperson for the External Viva Examination of B.Tech S4 (R) Examination April 2026 (2024 Scheme) for the Computer Science and Business Systems branch. This appointment recognizes his academic expertise and leadership in engineering education.
  • Varun G. Menon (R&D) and (CSE), delivered an expert session on “Transforming Final Year Projects to Research Papers” on 18 June 2026. The session guided students on converting project outcomes into quality research publications, emphasizing academic writing, publication strategies, and research dissemination, thereby fostering a strong research culture among aspiring engineers.
  • Anu S completed NPTEL Online Certification course on “Computer Networks and Internet Protocol” during the Jan–Apr 2026 session. She secured Elite certification with a consolidated score of 58% in the 12-week course conducted by NPTEL, demonstrating commendable academic dedication and technical proficiency in computer networking concepts.
  • Bini Omman completed NPTEL Online Certification course on “Data Base Management System” during the Jan–Mar 2026 session. She secured Elite certification with a consolidated score of 66%. This achievement reflects her dedication to continuous learning and academic excellence in the field of database management systems.
  • Demy Devassy completed NPTEL Online Certification course on “Fundamental Algorithms: Design and Analysis” during the Jan–Feb 2026 session. She secured Elite certification with a consolidated score of 75% in the 4-week course conducted by NPTEL, showcasing strong analytical and problem-solving skills in algorithm design and analysis.
  • Neethu Roy completed NPTEL Online Certification course on “Data Base Management System” during the Jan–Mar 2026 session. She secured Elite certification with a consolidated score of 64% in the 8-week course conducted by NPTEL, reflecting her strong understanding and dedication towards database management concepts and applications.
  • The proudly congratulates Dr. Litty Koshy, on being awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science and Engineering. Her doctoral research on “Securing Multimedia Integrity on Social Media: Advanced Deep Learning Techniques for Copy-Move Forgery Detection” contributes significantly to the fields of multimedia security, digital forensics, and deep learning-based forgery detection.

2025

  • Divya M.P. completed NPTEL course titled “Foundation of Cloud IoT Edge ML” conducted during February to April 2025. The course, which spanned 8 weeks, covered foundational concepts in Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Edge Computing, and Machine Learning. She achieved a consolidated score of 78, demonstrating commendable performance and understanding of the subject. This achievement reflects her commitment to continuous learning and professional development in emerging technologies.
  • Asha S. in the at, Karukutty, has been sanctioned ₹51,000 as Research Seed Money by APJAKTU for her project titled “Developing Ultra Low-Cost and Simplified Device for Water Level Monitoring,” recognizing her contribution to innovative and affordable water management solutions
